10,000-seat Open Stadium was put into operation in 2006. It is located in one of the most picturesque places of Khanty-Mansiysk in pine wood by the piste. The Stadium is modern sport venue comprising two tiers: west and east. There is a gym 25*11 metres in size, indoor 78 metres running track, weight room, conference facility, café and sauna in east tire. There are also state sports institutions. West tier includes a gym 36*18 metres in size, table tennis hall, weight room, three saunas and a café.
In the centre of the Stadium there is a pitch equipped with artificial grass by Italian company “Mondo”, track and field tracks with “Sportflex” surface, areas for high jump, pole vault and shot put. There is a special sector for throw next to the Stadium.
Open Stadium “Ugra-Athletics” offers adults and children soccer, rhythmic gymnastics, table tennis, body-building and chess courses. Open Stadium also hosts regional teams’ work-outs. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for hosting both interregional and international competitions. |
