Cultural and entertainment complex “Arena Ugra” was put into operation in 2008. This unique construction is autonomous sport multifunction centre with the capacity of 5500 spectators. The Complex meets all requirements for hosting international competitions. Although the Complex mostly hosts hockey and ski events, it has the ability to be reconfigured. After the necessary transformation Arena is converted into ground for sports events including minifootball, volleyball, baseball, handball, tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, body-building, box, wrestling as well as concert ground.
During 2009-2010 season cultural and entertainment complex “Arena Ugra” hosted matches for All-Russian Open Championship among Major League teams. During 2010-2011 season “Arena Ugra” will host Continental Hockey League home matches of “Ugra” hockey club.
Complex has got facilities to hold any kind of sport work-outs. At the present Complex is a training ground for hockey teams and for junior sport school trainings. For the sportsmen there is an area included spacious changing rooms, showers, driers, massage rooms, weight rooms.
Above the Ice arena there is a platform with multisystem TV media box for on-line game translation. |
